Agent Machines · Give the work a working system

Small, careful machines for serious work.

We turn the reading, sorting and chasing that eats your week into useful working systems. Built around a clear job. Connected to your tools. With you in charge.

The workshop

Give a useful job a machine of its own.

A queue that never clears. Documents somebody has to read twice. A careful first draft, repeated all day. We start with the work people actually do, then build a system that takes on a useful part of it.

Every machine needs a clear job, a way to show its work, and the good sense to ask when it is unsure. The craft is in making all those parts work together, so your team gets time back instead of another thing to supervise.

What a machine is, to us:

A named job, not a vague mandate.
A person in charge of the calls that matter.
A test against work you actually recognise.
A readable account of what happened.
A way to see how well it is doing.
— and a cord anyone can pull.
Station 01 · Intake hopper
01Find the work worth automating

We start on your factory floor, not ours.

Before a single bolt is turned, we walk the work with you. Together we map the high-volume, high-friction workflows and sort them by value and by risk — because the best first machine is the one that pays for itself and proves the model to skeptics.

We’d rather talk you out of a bad automation than sell you one. The hopper only takes in work that’s a genuinely good fit.

  • Repeated, well-shaped expert decisions
  • High volume with clear source documents
  • A measurable outcome you already track
  • Consequences worth governing carefully
Station 02 · The agent machine
02Build an agent with a clear job

Every agent is assembled from parts we can name and test.

The information it needs. The tools it can use. The calls it can make. Each agent is built to a written spec with a clear job description. We wire in exactly the tools it needs to do its job and nothing it doesn’t.

The machine is legible on purpose. When it acts, you can see which part did what, and why — so you can improve it like a machinist, not exorcise it like a ghost.

  • A written job description & scope
  • Access limited to what the job needs
  • Guardrails for the calls it must never make
  • Versioned, reviewable, rebuildable
Stations 01–06 · Conveyors
03Integrate into real workflows

An agent is only useful where the work already flows.

We connect machines to the systems your teams live in — queues, case files, ticketing, inboxes, records of decision — so work arrives, gets handled, and moves on without anyone re-keying it into yet another tab.

The conveyors matter as much as the machines. We design the joins as carefully as the agent: what arrives, where it goes next, and what a person needs to see.

  • Fits the tools your team already uses
  • Clear hand-offs between people and agents
  • Graceful fallback when a machine defers
  • No swivel-chair, no copy-paste tax
Stations 04–05 · Approval desk & Evidence vault
04Human approvals & evidence

People stay in charge of the calls that carry weight.

We design the approval steps with you — who signs, when, and on exactly what. The agent does the reading and the drafting; a person makes the decision that has consequences, with the full picture in front of them.

And every decision drops a stamped record into the evidence vault: the inputs, the outputs, the model and prompt versions, and the human who approved. When someone asks ‘why did this happen?’, the answer is already filed.

  • Human sign-off on consequential actions
  • Thresholds & escalations you control
  • A readable record of the important decisions
  • Answers when somebody asks what happened
Stations 03 & 06 · Eval scanner & Monitor tower
05Evaluation & monitoring

Before a machine runs live, it passes the scanner.

Every machine faces an evaluation suite built from your real cases — graded on the outcomes you care about, not a generic benchmark. If it can’t clear the bar, it doesn’t ship. Simple as that.

Once it’s running, the monitor tower keeps watch: drift, cost, latency, and quality, on a dashboard your team can read at a glance. When something looks off, the machine flags it — and anyone can pull the cord.

  • Tests built from work your team recognises
  • A quality bar to clear before go-live
  • A clear view of quality, speed and cost
  • An alarm and a stop, wired to real people

Who we build for

Machines earn their keep where the work is loud and repeats.

For teams doing valuable work with too much repetition wrapped around it. The opportunity is often in the preparation, the handover and the chasing.

High-volume knowledge work

Teams drowning in repetitive reading, sorting, and drafting — where the backlog grows faster than you can hire, and the work is more careful than a macro can handle.

Operations · Claims · Support · Back office

Repeated expert decisions

Professional-service firms whose experts make the same judgment hundreds of times a month. We give the expert a machine that does the legwork and hands them the call.

Legal · Advisory · Underwriting · Diligence

Too much coordination

The work crosses three systems and four people before anything happens. A machine can carry the information between them, flag what is missing and put the next step in the right hands.

Handoffs · Follow-ups · Missing information

The useful part stays with you

Your team should know its own machine.

Handover belongs in the build. We work through your real tasks together, so people leave having done the thing, not having watched slides about it.

The working system, its instructions and the decisions behind it belong together. That makes the next improvement easier to make, whoever makes it.
